The Secret of Sherlock Holmes
I saw this play by Jeremy Paul with JB and EH on its original run, and, unlike many critics, I enjoyed it quite a lot. (Despite the fact that, as my mother pointed out, there were no women in it. To be fair, there were only 2 men in it, and they were Holmes and Watson.)

However, it is coming round again! This time with Peter Egan as Holmes. Peter Egan?! I like him, but Holmes? Let's see.

What say you? No Mrs Hudson? You mean there are no crumpets for tea? Tsch! Shameful.

The management would like it to be known that budgetary restrictions mean that crumpets are unavailable in this production.

You remind me of a cinema trip in which we encountered People Sitting Behind Us who were complaining that Master and Commander (which was not the film we were about to see) had no female characters. Well, duh.

Oh yes, I think I saw that! They were... er... sitting on two chairs in a room?

Largely, yes. There was the quite-impressive-reconstruction-of-the-Reichenbach-Falls bit, too.
